Rockingham Salt Flats Photo Shoot
Back in late July, I headed out to the Rockingham Salt Flats for a photography session, drawn to the stark, barren beauty of the landscape. I wanted to experiment with a couple of different visual styles, and Sophie kindly volunteered to model for the shoot.
She brought along a brown crop top and shorts set that blended beautifully with the earthy tones of the land and surrounding foliage. To change things up, she also wore a simple flesh-coloured leotard, which translated perfectly into striking black-and-white images during post-processing.
A selection of images from the day is included here. What I didn’t realise at the time was that this shoot would become the unofficial beginning of my Natural in Nature project.
