The way a shadow falls across a flexed arm, the way a single beam highlights the curve of a leap, or how controlled light can freeze a moment that would otherwise be gone in an instant — this is where creativity truly comes alive.
I’m excited to announce a Creative Lighting Photography Session, designed specifically for gymnasts and dancers who want to explore something a little different from the usual studio shoot.
What to Expect
This session is all about experimenting with light as an artistic tool. We’ll be working with a range of professional modifiers to shape, control, and sculpt light in unique ways, including:
- Soft light boxes for smooth, flattering illumination
- Strip boxes to accentuate form and create dramatic edge lighting
- Snoots for tight, focused beams that isolate movement
- Gobo adaptors to project patterns, textures, and creative shadows
The goal is to create striking, dynamic images that highlight strength, elegance, and motion — whether that’s a suspended jump, a flowing pose, or a powerful floor sequence.
Who This Is For
I’m looking for gymnasts and dancers of all styles and levels who are open to experimenting and collaborating creatively. You don’t need prior photoshoot experience — just a willingness to move, try new ideas, and have fun with the process.
