Some of these concepts will be familiar favourites, while others will be completely new.
And this time, you get to help choose when it happens.
Explore a Style That Suits You
I’ll be offering a selection of established session concepts, including:
- Metallic Paint – bold, creative and visually striking.
- Natural in Nature – using the beauty of the natural environment to create organic images.
- Natural Indoors – simple imagery with a natural feel.
- Hard Light – dramatic lighting, strong shadows and a more artistic edge.
- Indoor & Outdoor Sessions – combining different environments to create a varied collection of images.
But that’s not all…
Two New Concepts Are Coming
I’m also excited to introduce two completely new session ideas.
Light Play
For this concept, I’ll be incorporating light tubes into the background, allowing us to experiment with colour, shape, light and shadow.
The result? Something a little different from a traditional studio session, with plenty of opportunities to create dramatic and eye-catching images.
Aerial Shadow Shots
This one takes things to a whole new level — quite literally!
Using my drone, I’ll be exploring photography from above, using your position, the surrounding environment and your shadow to create unique compositions that simply aren’t possible from ground level.
It’s a completely different perspective on portrait photography, and I’m really looking forward to seeing what we can create.
You Choose the Date
In the past, I’ve selected specific dates for particular session styles. While this seemed like a good idea at the time, I found that those dates didn’t always work for everyone.
So, this time, I’m changing the approach.
Rather than me deciding when a particular session will take place, you’ll be able to choose a date that works for you.
I’ll be putting together an online form where you can select the style of session you’re interested in and nominate a suitable date.
And because I’ll be taking long service leave from my full-time job, I’ll have a much greater amount of flexibility during this period.
That means more opportunities to find a day and time that fits around your schedule.
Keep Your Eyes Open…
There’s a lot more information to come, including details of each session style, how to register your interest and how the new booking process will work.
So, if one of these concepts has caught your attention — or if you’re simply looking for something different and creative — make sure you’re following me on Instagram and Facebook.
I’ll be announcing more details soon, with the first sessions expected to begin from Monday, 12 October.
Twelve weeks. Multiple concepts. New ideas. And plenty of opportunities to create something unique.
I can’t wait to see what we can create together.
