When you book an outdoor photo session it’s always good to have an idea where you may want to go before you book. You will be asked this on the booking form.
Think of a few things;
- What type of shots do I want?
- Will the location be busy with other people?
- Can I get there?
- Will it be safe?
- Does travel time warrant the duration of the booking time?
There may be other things you will need to consider depending on exactly what you’re after.
Other things you may need to keep in mind;
Let’s say you want to go to the beach.
- This is fine but consider how hot it will be because it often means if its hot, it will be busy and it’s hard to get photos of just you.
- Working on the beach is really hard. Where you may be able to jump, turn or similar on a hard surface, the soft sand can often impede your skill.
- If it’s windy you will get blasted by grains of sand. This can be painful.
I always try to cater for everyone when I take photo session bookings but I do ask that you assist me with locations. For sure I can recommend places but it really helps if you already have something in mind. I hope this helps with your decision making for when you book your photo session.
